UPDATE: What Project Community is Doing Now.
Project Community has been going through lots of changes the past few months (which explains the lack of content on the site). For the past few months, we have been discussing the methods and means we have been using to reach and help transform our church and communities. From this, we have developed a new strategy that will allow for cooperative effort to be formed in order to accomplish the goals God has given us.
What does this look like?
- We have a team of volunteers leading the charge, under the direction of pastor Russ Cantu.
- We have an identified process: how the leadership team will begin the process of community wide transformation
- We have identified target areas: communities in which we see God moving and shaking.
What are the next steps in this process?
- Our team will be coordinating with church small group and adult bible fellowship leaders in order to create a church-wide ownership of the process.
- Our team will coordinate a massive survey process throughout the target areas in order to determine community assets and leaders.
- Our team will identify assets and leaders from the survey results and begin to set a process for how we can accomplish a singular goal with identified community leaders, alongside the people of the target zones.

A short synopsis of the soccer camp hosted by Prescott Church and sponsored by Sports Authority, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Soccer Pro and Visual Horizons. Throughout the camp we reached over 100 children and their families and are seeking to continue to build bridges that will contribute to community wide ownership.
