Project CHILDD hosts art show and luncheon for special needs children and their families

Right on the heels of its ever-popular Color Run event in May – which drew over 600 participants – Project Community is diligently active throughout the entire year. One of these visionary programs is called Project CHILDD – the acronym for Community Help In Learning about Developmental Disabilities. It’s where children and teens are given the chance to socialize and to use art to express themselves creatively. Professional art instruction supports therapeutic expression and builds self-esteem.
