Project Community welcomes new board members, launches new programs

Project Community, a Pelham-based nonprofit dedicated to empowering youth, supporting families, and promoting community wellbeing, proudly marks the end of its  40th year of service. Since its founding in 1985 by nurses committed to youth health and resilience, the organization continues to grow with fresh leadership, innovative programming, and expanded community support.

New Board Members

This milestone anniversary year marks a period of exciting leadership growth for Project Community, with the expansion of both its Board of Directors and program leadership. New voices and perspectives have joined the organization, strengthening governance, program oversight, and strategic direction across key initiatives.

Current Board leadership includes Founder and President Anne DuVal Frost, Ph.D., R.N., Vice President Stephanie Otero, Treasurer David Frost, and Creative Director Joe Nunziata, Program Director for Project CHILDD Lauren DiDomenico, alongside directors supporting teen and special community programs. Project Community is pleased to welcome Kristen Whalen as Secretary and Jocelyn Liao as the newest member of the Color Run Committee. Joanne Colón has joined the Board as Marketing Co-Chair, bringing expertise in community engagement and outreach. Read more
